Wheat Grass Juice



Ingredients:
Wheat grass      - 1 Bunch        
Grated Coconut – 4 Tbspn
Cardamom         - 1
Honey                - To taste
Clean the Wheat grass before you chop them. Chop the leaves before grinding. Add grated Coconut and Cardamom with chopped Wheat Grass. Add water gradually as you grind the leaves to make a paste. Strain the juice through muslin cloth. Continue this process until the leaves become white.
Add Honey to taste.

Tip:
Wheatgrass juice is a popular health drink. It is thought to benefit health only when fresh and taken on an empty stomach immediately after extraction.

Aval n Milk

Ingredients 
Milk - 1 cup or more as required- Boiled
Red Aval ( Thin)   - 1 Cup (soak in water for 3 mins, clean and drain water)
Jaggery or Nattu Sarkarai   - As per taste
Cardamom  - 1 Powdered 
Banana - 1 Sliced Thin
Apple - 1 Cut into small pieces
Badam  - 2 Grated

Preparation
Mix the soaked Aval in the boiled Milk. Add Cardamom powder, Jaggery / Nattu Sarkarai. Before serving add sliced banana and apple pieces. Garnish with grated Badam.

Milk Aval is a very good meal for kids and who wish to gain weight.

Tip:-
I always suggest to avoid White sugar and instead add Jaggery or Nattu sarkarai for sweetening any food. 
Jaggery, the natural sweetener contains Nutritive & medicinal value. It has High protein, iron, vitamin and mineral content. It is no wonder that Jaggery  is regularly consumed by thousands of industrial workers / traffic policemen who are exposed to higher levels of pollution. It helps them breathe easier and counter pollution naturally.

Mixed Sprouts Paruppu Podi

Ingredients -1

Black Gram              - 1/2 cup
Brown sundal           - 1/2 cup
Green Gram Dal      - 1/2 cup
Green Peas              - 1/2 cup

Soak all the above ingredients separately and make sprouts out of it. Dry all the sprouts until it completely get dry.

Ingredients - 2

Pea nut                   - 1/4 cup (Optional) will give additional flavor
Black Pepper          - 2 Tbsp
Curry leaf                - 3 strings
Red chilli                 - 4 nos. (As per taste)
Salt                         - To taste ( Use rock salt)

Dry Roast the Ingredient -1 and 2 and leave it to cool. Add all the ingredients in a mixer and grind it to powder.

Tip:-
We can use this multi sprout paruppu podi with hot Rice, Ghee/Gingely oil.
To get instant chutney add this powder with curd and  use it for Idli/Dosa.
